It's been a while since we've posted and it's good to be back.
Here is my latest pastel painting, 11 x 14 on sanded paper mounted on gatorboard (a kind of foam core). I am entering this painting in a juried show, and will know the end of February if it is accepted or not.
I thought I needed a break from painting landscapes, and we bought some sunflowers at Trader Joe's, put them in a glass of water with a few pears arranged around them, took a photo, and here is the result. I hope you like it. At this point it's not for sale.
